DogDays

My name is Dayna and I volunteer for a rescue called Piney Woods Animal Welfare Society in South East Texas. I love dogs and have a particular interest in their behavior. I have two wonderful dogs of my own, Gunner, a Texas Blue Lacy Dog, and Pailsey, my Doberman Pinscher puppy. Both were rescues.

I believe in the power of positive reinforcement as well as the power dogs have to heal humans. I have seen increadable changes in my foster dogs as well as my own since they were rescued.

Both of my dogs are in training to become pet therapy dogs and they have proven, already, to be of the right temperment and attitude for the job.

I also volunteered for the Humane Society through college.
